Daniel Studdard
Running Backs Coach | Atlantic High School

Coach Daniel Studdard began his coaching career in 2011 at Boynton Beach High School, where he initially coached linebackers. In 2012 and 2013, he transitioned to coaching running backs, a position he would continue to develop his expertise in. By 2014, he took on the additional role of passing and run game coordinator, where he had the privilege of coaching several talented athletes, including two-time NFL MVP and Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. During his tenure at Boynton Beach, Coach Studdard also mentored and coached Kyron Brown who played in the NFL.

In 2016, Coach Studdard joined Atlantic High School as the Running Backs Coach. In his first year, he helped lead the team to the third round of the playoffs. The following year, in 2017, Coach Studdard’s running backs played a key role in the team’s run to the Class 8A State Championship, where they narrowly lost to Dr. Phillips, 17-7. The 2018 season saw Coach Studdard’s group achieve an undefeated record of 10-0. Since 2019, Coach Studdard has continued to coach running backs at Atlantic High School and also plays a significant role in the academic enrichment of the program. Throughout his coaching career, he has had the honor of mentoring over 40 athletes who went on to play at Division I programs.
